Congratulations to Taylor "Bug" Cox for signing a professional contract with the San Diego Padres.  Bug is the third former Tiger to sign a professional baseball contract

Arlington High School is proud to announce that senior pitcher Reese Brewer has signed a scholarship to play baseball next year at Walters State Community College. As a junior, Reese started the year pitching a “no hitter” in his first game of the season against Brighton. Throughout his years at Arlington he has been a leader on the pitching staff and a very strong performer on the field.
The AHS coaching staff said “ We are very excited for Reese and this opportunity to play with a nationally known junior college like Walters State. We  expecting great things out of Reese this year. He has been one of most improved pitchers over the past couple of years and we are excited to see him in action on the mound in the spring."

Senior outfielder Aaron Campbell has signed a scholarship to play baseball at Blue Mountain College. As a junior, Campbell hit .455 with 17 RBI, and had a .514 on base percentage. In October, Aaron was also selected to play for the St. Louis Gamers in the WWBA 18u Upperclass World Championships in Jupiter, Florida.
The AHS coaching staff said there are a number of positives with Aaron. "First, Aaron plays the game about as hard as it can be played. He’s very intense and aggressive, always hustling. Secondly, he’s a great teammate. He views the team as a family and does his best to form meaningful relationships with the squad on and off the field. Thirdly, he has enough confidence in himself to be one of the main leaders on our team. His leadership doesn’t go unnoticed.”
